Check out the TSL website at:

http://www.tslprojectservices.com.au

Tracey wins the award for being a pleasure to work with and her dedication to making TSL Project Services a leader in the Quantity Surveying Industry.

After being extremely disappointed with previous marketing and sales consultants, Tracey approached us to market TSL’s online presence. Since Syntax Wise began an online and offline marketing campaign, TSL Project Services has increased their enquiries by over 311%. We’re so proud of us!!!!!

If you need a Quantity Surveyor - Tracey and the TSL Project Services’ Team are the people to speak to!

Thanks Tracey.

Ever wondered what the headings stand for on a Google Adwords Campaign?

Hopefully this will help:

Current Status - whether your campaign is currently switched on or not

Current Budget - the daily budget (the amount you aim to spend each day) that you’ve allocated to each ad campaign

Impr - (Impressions) the amount of times your ad is shown

CTR - (Click Through Rate) the number of times your ad is clicked on divided by the number of times your ad is shown (impressions) via Google search only

Avg. CPC - (Average Cost Per Click) the average cost of each click

Cost - total cost

Conv. Rate - (Conversion Rate) the percentage of clicks that result in a conversion

Cost/Conv. - (Cost per Conversion) the total cost divided by the total number of conversions. This statistic gives you the amount spent per conversion.

Conversions - the number of visitors who go on to fill in a form on your webpage (signing up for a newsletter, membership, etc.), purchase something from you, etc. as a result of your Google ad.

The Solving the Marketing Your Product or Service on the Internet Mystery’ Seminar.

A couple of questions about the seminar first…

What nut came up with that title??? Oh, yeah, that was me. Ok, next question…

Who was that sweet looking lady in the back row who told the group she was planning on setting up a “Soft Porn Site for over 50’s”?

That sweet looking lady was Rosslyn, and after regaling us with her plans and fending off one or two offers to help with the research (thank you Peter in the side row), Rosslyn has asked us to let you know that she was not serious. Rosslyn is actually a writer of poems and prose on the Australian Dreamtime and the Fantasy world of nymphs and fairies. (We’re really sorry to disappoint you, Peter.)

But please make a note of Rosslyn’s clever marketing technique. I’m sure everyone who chatted with her remembers her!

Now, I’m not suggesting you should introduce yourself at the next seminar or meeting you attend, as someone involved in the sex industry!

I’m merely suggesting that when you present your ‘elevator speech’… the quick little spiel on who you are and what you do when you first meet someone, you should say something that makes you memorable.

Now, back to the seminar…

I’m keen to know what the quote from Bill Gates was that Errol in the back row told the group. Unfortunately, I couldn’t hear too well where I was sitting in the front row.

Errol, if you get a chance to read this, can you give us the quote again, by clicking on the ‘comment’ link below this post, please? Or if anyone else can remember the quote and the context of what it was about, can you also visit the ‘comment’ link?

There was an abundance of ‘ooohs’ and nodding of heads during the segment on how to find your Niche market with the keyword research.

We’ll be putting up another copy of the handy links pages here for you in case if you ever misplace your folder from the seminar. You’ll remember the pages had some very useful links to access tools for keyword research.

(There will also be ‘test drive’ reports of different online marketing tools here soon, so remember to pop back and check it out)

When Alan Stewart, our indefatiguable presenter (yes, he does resemble the Eveready Bunny at times) told you about the F.A.B.L.E. to marketing products and services…

Features
Advantages
Benefits
Love your product if there’s an…
Emotional connection

(For an audio of this please visit www.themarketerspodcast.com)

… you’ll remember we had a look at the ‘Interview with God’ and learned that powerful marketing involves a ’synesthesia’ which is just a fancy word that means a combination of several representation systems.

You’ll remember the representation systems were the things we do inside our heads:

Visual - seeing things in our minds eye
Auditory - hearing things in our head
Kinesthetic - feeling
Olfactory - smell
Gustatory - taste
Auditory Digital - self talk

What makes things go viral is a ’synesthesia’.

We’ll keep you posted on another useful report coming out soon that will give you more details on that very subject.

If you have any questions at all please simply drop us an email to: info [at] syntaxwise [dot] com

Thank you for your time and thank you for attending the seminar!

Good luck with your online endeavours!

Deb Stewart
Copy Writer Extraordinaire (and somewhat humble)
Member of the Syntax Wise Team.
